Despite the need for our “rain date” this year, we had a large and enthusiastic turnout for the event on Sunday. The day was partly cloudy (greatly sunny) and the atmosphere was perfect for an early fall festival at the Izaak Walton Chapter on Herndon Road. As one of the patrons said, ” I really enjoyed coming out to this year’s festivities and I thought you might enjoy some of the photos my dogs took near the skins and furs area. It’s easy to make great memories at the Dog Mart. This was our second year attending after moving from North Carolina and it’s quickly become one of our favorite Virginian traditions. There’s nothing quite like it. I also really enjoyed the extra categories added on this year! We had a blast, and we’ll be sure to come again next year!” In the photo is one of the dogs who was also a ribbon winner in one of the dog show categories who signaled his agreement with wanting to come back next year to do it all over again.
